Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Motivate line staff and continuously train as needed
- Maintain the standards of food quality and presentation as set by management and ensure recipes are followed by all staff.
- Produce food product at the appropriate pace to ensure good service and a good working relationship with the front of the house
- Assist with ensuring all sanitation standards are maintained and correct deficiencies as they arise.
- Monitor and approve the daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Perform a monthly inspection for cleanliness and supervise the correction of areas that are below standard.
- Perform all responsibilities of the Chef de Cuisine when absent.
- Create or review daily specials in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine to make sure they represent One Bistro appropriately and are priced correctly.
- Ensure culinary staff are complying with the dress code standards and meet the requirements for personal hygiene and fully represent us well in a show kitchen
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional cooking experience
- Culinary Arts Degree preferred
- Must have good technical skills in all phases of cooking. i.e. Sauté, Grill, Braise, Poaching, etc.
- Perform all responsibilities of the Chef de Cuisine when absent.

- Ensure culinary staff is complying with the dress code standards and meet the requirements for personal hygiene and fully represent us well in a show kitchen.
