Every August 6th, Marriott Hotels celebrate National Root Beer Float Day with a fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. For the entire month of August, One Bistro is honoring those roots with our Root Beer Float Promotion, celebrating the rich history of hospitality while supporting a cause that has touched countless families throughout New England.

The Marriott story began by serving refreshing root beer to guests during Washington’s hot summer months. As demand grew, the Marriott family expanded their menu, eventually creating the Hot Shoppes restaurant chain and laying the groundwork for what would become one of the world’s most recognized hospitality brands.

For decades, Marriott associates and properties across the country have helped raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, supporting critical pediatric care, life-saving treatments, research, and family support services.
